The late Phil Hughte was a respected artist in our community who taught art and brought his style of art to us in several ways.  Mr. Hughte's art helped us appreciate our culture and community while making us smile.  Phil was also a keen observer and his art reflected the good, bad, humorous and beautiful parts of what it's like to live in our community.

The AAMHC Phil Hughte collection includes oil on canvas paintings and drawings that appeared in the book: A Zuni Artist Looks at Frank Hamilton Cushing, and pieces that appeared in the Shiwi Messenger newspaper.
